why this site

I have social issues, as a result I spend most of my time on the net. After using social media for a long time, I stumbled onto neocities. The sites on here are able to express a high level of personal flair, but at the same time, user to user communication is more limited. The perfect combination for someone like me haha.

I’m hoping this site will allow me to gain some coding skills, have fun on the www, and have something to work on long term.
